    On December 4, 2008, news agencies reported that Antonio Pierce will testify before a Manhattan Grand Jury investigating the accidental shooting of Plaxico Burress in a nightclub.   • Football Career

    Pierce played college football at Mt. San Antonio College before transferring to the University of Arizona. He started in 23 games for the Wildcats, recording seven sacks and 153 tackles.Official Site: Antonio Pierce

    Following school, Pierce signed as an undrafted free agent with the Washington Redskins on April 22, 2001. He made his NFL debut that same year, playing in all 16 regular season games. Pierce continued with the Redskins until 2005, when he signed with the New York Giants. In 2006, he was selected to his first Pro Bowl.   • Plaxico Burress Gun Incident

    Pierce was with Giants teammate Plaxico Burress in New York City on November 29, 2008, when Burress accidentally shot himself in the thigh. Pierce reportedly took Burress' weapon after the incident and stashed it in New Jersey. Both players could face criminal charges, although Pierce is reportedly cooperating with police in exchange for immunity.
