Antoine Walker is a former professional basketball player for the Memphis Grizzlies of the National Basketball Association.
On July 15, 2009, Walker was arrested in a Nevada casino on a warrant. Walker allegedly owes $822,500 in gambling debt and wrote $1 million worth of bad checks to casinos. Early Life
Antoine Devon Walker was born in Chicago, Illinois, on August 12, 1976, and went on to attend Mount Carmel High School. He continued his education at the University of Kentucky, where he helped the Wildcats basketball team win the NCAA division one basketball tournament. Pro Career
In his first season with the Celtics, Walker averaged 17.5 points and started 68 games for the team. He recorded his best season in the 2000-2001 campaign, when he averaged 23.4 points and 8.9 rebounds, while starting 81 games for the Celtics. In 2003, Walker was traded to the Dallas Mavericks. The following season he was traded to the Atlanta Hawks and then back to Boston. In 2005, Walker was traded again, this time to the Miami Heat. In 2006, Walker was a key member of the Heat squad which won the franchise's first ever NBA Finals. In 2007, Walker was traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves for Ricky Davis and Mark Blount. Later that same season, Walker was traded again to the Memphis Grizzlies.
