Anthrax is a thrash heavy metal band who achieved considerable success in the 1980s with their unique brand of Hard Rock aggression and technical proficiency. They are considered to be one of the first bands to incorporate Rap into their sound with their 1991 collaboration with Public Enemy "Bring The Noise." While the band has gone through a number of minor lineup changes, the core group continues to perform.
