Anthony Waters is a National Football League linebacker for the New Orleans Saints. Waters was drafted by the San Diego Chargers in the third-round of the 2007 NFL draft. Before joining the Chargers, Waters played for the Clemson Tigers football team.

College Football Career
Prior to playing professionally, Waters played college football for the Clemson Tigers in the NCAA. He recorded 109 tackles during his junior season and joined the team as a reserve linebacker at the Peach Bowl. In his final season however, Waters was forced to sit out after injuring his knee in the first game of the year. After college, he was selected 95th overall in the NFL draft by the San Diego Chargers.
NFL Career
After the draft, Waters did not play whatsoever in the 2007 season, but did make his NFL debut in 2008. He played seven games with the Chargers in 2008, recording just three tackles.
