  • In the NFL

    Drafted in the second round of the 2001 NFL draft, Thomas made an immediate impact for the Chicago Bears. In his first year, he accumulated 1,100+ yards and seven touchdowns. He was named the NFL's 2001 Rookie of the Year. He spent four seasons with the Bears before signing to back up Julius Jones in Dallas. In 2006, he signed with the Buffalo Bills, but was released in February of 2008.
