Anthony Sowell Serial Killer

Anthony Sowell of Cleveland, Ohio was indicted March 31, 2010 for attacking a woman from Cleveland. This was a 34 year old woman who met Anthony Sowell on the street. Sowell told the woman it was his birthday and he was alone. She went to his home with him, where he held her against her will and then raped and beat her. He let her go in the morning. She did not go to the police right away because she herself had warrants out for her arrest. Anthony Sowell is a convicted rapist and a registered sex offender. He has pleaded not guilty to 85 counts in total. These counts include corpse abuse, rape, assault, and aggravated murder. He was most recently arrested October 31, 2009 after police went to his home to investigate an allegation of rape. Police found 11 bodies at Sowell's home, buried in the back yard and inside the house.
