College Basketball Career
Prior to playing in the NBA, Randolph played for the LSU Tigers. He led the team in rebounding and ranked second in scoring as a freshman, with 15.6 points per game, 8.5 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 1.1 steals and 2.3 blocks per game in 32.8 minutes a game. After his freshman season in college, he declared eligible for the NBA draft. Randolph was selected 14th overall the 2008 NBA draft by the Golden State Warriors. He made his professional debut that same year.
