Anthony Peeler

Anthony Peeler is a retired professional basketball player. He played thirteen years in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Peeler played for the Los Angeles Lakers, Vancouver Grizzlies, Minnesota Timberwolves, Sacramento Kings, and Washington Wizards. Peeler's position was shooting guard. He played for the University of Missouri in college and was drafted to the Los Angeles Lakers in the 1992 NBA draft.

Peeler retired from the NBA in 2005 while playing for the Washington Wizards. He is currently an assistant coach at Virginia Union University. He joined the Virginia Union coaching staff in 2008.

NBA Career

Peeler was drafted in the 1992 NBA draft by the Los Angeles Lakers. http://www.nba.com/playerfile/anthony_peeler/bio.html He started eleven games and averaged 10.4 points per game in his rookie season. In 1996-1997 Peeler joined the Vancouver Grizzlies. Peeler averaged 14.5 points per game along with 3.6 assists per game in his first season with Vancouver.http://www.nba.com/playerfile/anthony_peeler/bio.html He set a single season record for the franchise with 40 points February 14th vs. the New Jersey Nets. In 1997 Peeler joined the Minnesota Timberwolves. He averaged 13.0 points a game his first season with Minnesota. Peeler joined the Sacramento Kings in 2003.
