Anthony Michael Hall is an American actor, producer and director who began his career in the 1980s and starred in such films as Sixteen Candles, The Breakfast Club, and Weird Science.

Life and Career
Anthony Michael Hall was born in Boston, Massachusetts. His mother was a singer and his father was an auto-body shop owner; they divorced when Hall was six months old.
Hall never went to college but did attend the Professional Children's School for high school. His acting career began when he was eight and he soon rose to fame for his role in Sixteen Candles. Following that he appeared in a number of 1980s films with other members of the "Brat Pack", which have today become classics of the era.
Hall sought roles after the 80s that would distinguish him from his past work and eventually landed parts in other films and TV shows. Most recently he starred in USA Network's The Dead Zone, which had a successful run from 2002 to 2007. He is set to appear in The Dark Knight in 2008.
