U.S. Army Spec. Anthony M. Lightfoot, of Riverdale, Georgia was killed in Afghanistan on July 20, 2009. Lightfoot was killed when a IED detonated near his vehicle.
Portions of Spc. Lightfoot's funeral service was televised on CNN on August 4, 2009. The late soldier's mother authorized a camera crew to film the fallen soldier's service. Anchor Rick Sanchez interviewed Lightfoot's mother. Spc. Lightfoot was 20 years old.
