Anthony Johnson

Anthony Johnson was born October 2nd, 1974 in Charleston, South Carolina. He played high school basketball for Stall High School, in his senior season at Stall High he was named Charleston’s Prep Athlete of the Year. He also played football in high school and was an all-conference quarterback on the state runner-up team. Anthony was also a honorable mention all-conference shortstop on his high school baseball team, as he lead them to the semifinal.

Anthony has a brother names Steven. Anthony Johnson went to college at Charleston and got a business degree and started his very own business called, AJ Custom Doors and Windows. Anthony was selected by the Sacramento Kings in the second round in the 1997 draft. During his NBA career he has played for teams such as, Sacramento, Atlanta, Orlando, Cleveland, New Jersey, Indiana and Dallas. In the 2008-2009 season the Orlando Magic went 59-23 for a 3 seed in the Eastern Conference. The Magic went on the Eastern Conference Finals against the heavily favored Cleveland Cavaliers to shock the world and beat them in six games. The Orlando Magic went on to lose to the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA Finals in six games. Anthony Johnson appeared in 80 regular season games and 19 playoff games. He averaged 5.3 points, 2.5 assists and 1.8 rebounds in just over 18 minutes a game. In his 19 playoff games he averaged 4.3 points per game, 2.1 assists and 1.4 rebounds a game. On December 27th Anthony Johnson appeared in his 700th career NBA regular season game.
