Anthony Green is a musician from Doylestown PA. He is the lead singer of Circa Survive and has been the vocalist for The Sound of Animals Fighting. Other previous work includes being ex-Saosin frontman, Audience of One, Jeer At Rome, High and Driving, and Zolof the Rock and Roll Destroyer.
Life and Career
In 2003, Anthony Green moved to Southern California from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to join Saosin. Saosin would release only one EP, entitled Translating The Name, with Green in the lineup before he left to go start Circa Survive.
Anthony quit Saosin in early 2004 to form Circa Survive, the band immediately gained the support of Equal Vision Records and within a year had released a limited edition tour EP entitled The Inuit Sessions in 2005. Anthony Green considers Circa Survive his only band, and has labeled his other ventures as “projects,” these include The Sound Of Animals Fighting and his solo career.
Circa Survive has been on many national tours, with bands such as Mae, Saves the Day, Cute Is What We Aim For, among other great bands.
In 2008 Anthony Green release his first solo album "Avalon" on Photo Finish Records.
