Anthony Bourdain is a best-selling author, celebrity chef and television personality. He is the host of the Travel Channel's No Reservations, a food-oriented travelogue, and was the former host the Food Network's A Cook's Tour. He is a recurring guest judge and blogger for Bravo's Top Chef.
Bourdain came to the general public's attention following the publication of his best-selling book Kitchen Confidential: Adventures in the Culinary Underbelly. The book chronicled Bourdain's life as a chef with such establishments as New York's Brasserie Les Halles.
Bourdain began his career as a chef in the seafood restaurants of Provincetown, Massachusetts and graduated in 1978 from the Culinary Institute of America.
