The answer would be as varied as the individual. However, there are resources online for people dealing with the challenges of caring for elderly parents, such as the support group on 'Aging Parents and Elder Care' (link in sources).
Check the clubs and events section of your local newspaper, as sometimes there are groups that meet in your area.
