Your child wants to attend an audition to become a singer. Do you let him participate?

Tip for best answer: M$1.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Yes, I would. But I will make sure that the competition is only for children with suitable rules and judges who have worked with children. I will also make sure the pressure is not too much for children of his age and that the audition have the child;s best interest in mind, not to humiliate the children for the sake of entertainment.

Children can learn confidence in public through practice. But I'm not going to let the audition ruin his study or his life. I will always accompany him to make sure he handles everything well and the competition is beneficial to him instead of detrimental to his mental health.

Sure! Why not? Well, I would not let a minor child audition to sing at a bar, but other than that, why not let him audition? I myself have sung in shows and at fairs and weddings.
