Youngest composer and the year he wrote his first music. Added description/s and where written, the better.
Often called 'wunderkind.' A prolific genius who composed a total of more than 600 pieces, and wrote in practically all genres. Due to his demise, his last composition was left unfinished, completed by a pupil.

Mozart, Wolfgang Amadeus
Composition : Andante in C, K. 1a
Age when he wrote it: 5
This piece is not just Mozart's first keyboard work, but his first (or so believed) composition. It is an extremely short piece (just 20 seconds long), likely notated by his father, Leopold Mozart, since Wolfgang was only 5 years old at the time.
It is normally performed on the harpsichord and is in the key of C. The piece opens with a lively one-bar phrase, which is repeated piano (quietly). This is done again with a second, modified phrase before it gains a deeper, unrepeated phrase and ends. Andante in C (helpĀ·info)

Hi Shivsky,
Thanks for your response, appreciate it. For first point of reference, yes, Wiki is ok to start with. I really prefer if you back up your source with printed materials. I also asked for the year in which he wrote it, and, where it was written. I think my added information gave away the composer identity too much. Thanks.
