You suspect one of your friends is getting herself involved in human trafficking. What do you do?

Tip for best answer: M$1.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Well it would depend on what side of the trafficking they were on. If they were being conned into it I would definately step forward and be there to meet the people who were doing it. If they were on the other side of it I would tell them what a stupid idea it was and how they were going to get caught. And if they continued I would tell them to enjoy prison.

Well, being a friend, a real friend is certainly not the easiest thing in the world to do. There are times when you have to have conversations that we'd all rather avoid. But truth is, those conversation can be the ones that save your friends life. I would get ahold of her, and talk. Why is she doing this? What are the consequences? And how can WE find a way out? I would be willing to do whatever I can to help her get out of that situation. I find it hard for me to ignore or be passive about things that concern my friends. I have a big mouth, and if I were to keep my mouth shut, I'd always worry that I should of said something. Before it's too late.
