Hi taters84
If your xbox 360 has been having problems reading disks, it might be because of several reasons.
If you have one of the older, 1st generation ones, your 360 may be scratching your disks. Check to see if your games have any unusual scratches on them. If it happens on all your games, your dvd drive may either be dying or your console/dvd lens just needs a little bit cleaning. If you can get a hold of some uncompressed air, try using that to spray the innards of the 360 through the dvd drive to blow some dust out (make sure the system if powered off). Also, as much as possible, keep your 360 in a horizontal position. Helps give your xbox better air circulation.
If it still continues to throw disk reading errors, your best bet is to give Microsoft a call. Hopefully you can get it working right
