In Tomb Raider Underworld, how do you get across the room after you have been through that tunnel?

I've been in this room for like 1 hour and cant get out I looked through 6 different walkthroughs and it don't tell you all it says is shimmy across but there is no more ledges please someone help it really annoying me now lol
