Make sure you block every attack possible. Wait on him to do the Flying Swallow or Shadow Dash attack and evade and follow with and X,X,Y combo. Continue doing this and you'll take him down quickly. There's several methods of defeating him, but that one worked well for me. Here's a video of how to beat him.
