What can we expect in the next Burnout Paradise update, Big Surf Island?

The rumor is that it will be out Q1 of 09. Of course, now that they are charging for the update they will be obligated to provide a product that isn't "Well, oops. It was a free content update so we'll get it fixed as soon as possible."

Q1 of 09 is your best bet.

Check out Criterion's podcast, episode #15 (at criteriongames.com/podcast) where they cover some aspects of Big Surf. It will be a combination of quarry/airport/downtown -- huge multi-story buildings, enormous jumps, races up and down skyscrapers, jumping from building to building. It looks VERY exiting!
