What does it mean when the green light is blinking on the guitar in Guitar Hero?

I don't see any green lights in Guitar Hero, maybe you're talking about the blue lights, im not sure, because if its the blue lights its called the Star Power, you will need to move the guitar in a certain way, then u will have extra points.

I think it means that Guitar's batteries are going to be dead soon or the Guitar is out of sync with your XBOX. You need to re-sync it.
