When is Halo 4 coming out?

Halo 3 was the third and final game in the main Halo trilogy.

'Halo Wars', a real-time strategy video game, is due to be released March 3rd (NA), Feb 27th (EU) and Feb 26th (Jap).

'Halo: Chronicles', a "new trilogy" of Halo games will be an episodic video game. There is little development news available at the moment so don't expect to see these anytime soon.

'Halo: Recon' which has been renamed 'Halo 3: ODST' is a standalone expansion for Halo 3. The official website is http://tinyurl.com/3vplun - that game is due to be released Fall 2009

Bungie will not be coming out with Halo 4, they are releasing it to GearBox

Halo 4 isn't exactly coming out.  Halo 3's theme was "finish the fight" as the main characters storyline is at an end. 


There is a new Halo title coming out called Halo: ODST or something like that, but it is more of a sideline story not involving the main characters.  It's a spin off from the main story line.  Its release date is mid-2009.  Its not a full-fledged game, so don't expect lines at midnight to get it.
