whats the best way to kill a witch and a tank on left 4 dead

Witch: Shotgun to the back of the head usually kills her in one hit on all modes except hardcore.

Tank: Light it on fire, then just keep shooting at it. Having a sniper with a rifle and two guys with auto shotguns tends to do the most damage in my experience. If he's on fire, he'll take damage whether or not you're shooting him.

You should avoid the witch if you can. If you're quiet when you're around her, you can just walk past her. But if you happen to scare her, just unload as much as you can on her. Same for the tank. Using a pipe bomb or molotov to start helps do some damage before they're right on top of you.
