In my opinion, I am more a fan of the MP40. I have never developed a class with it, but I have recently picked it up from one of the many many many that I have killed, and I will soon be making a class including it. It doesn't have a very fast firing-rate, but that’s also what I love about it. Mainly because that also means higher accuracy.

The Thompson I don't like as much. I am always more partial to higher accuracy and the Thompson doesn't fall in the category. Great for smaller maps, such as the notorious Downfall. Also you go through so many rounds at such a fast rate. Not so good if your going for a killing spree.
