can i play co-op with xbox live? if so, how do i get player 2 in the game?

i am trying to play 2 player co op on xbox live. I want to play with one other person from the same xbox. Please advise- thanks!

You can't do that. If you want to play co-op over xbox live only you can be on that xbox. To do co-op on the same xbox you can't be on xboxlive.
