There has been no confirmation from Ubisoft that the public (outside of E3) will get a playable demo and given that there was no demo for the first AC, I am doubtful that Ubisoft will release one.

Well I know that the official release day for AC2 is November 17,2009.Demo are usually release 4-3 weeks before a game is released so I'm guessing late September or early October.I might be wrong though its only a rough guess.
