if you did the ice shrine thing and you forgot the book there, is there a way to go back and recover it?

I just finished the ice thing and remembered leaving a book there. when i went back the bridge was gone and i couldnt get back into the ice shrine, can you tell me how i can, or if im royally screwed.

Upon completion of the Knothole Island Quest Line, you will have the option to control the weather in Knothole Island to whatever your heart's desire. So no book is never truly lost, and you can re-explore every crevice missed.
