I highly recommend The Little Brown Handbook. This series of books has been out for awhile, and they just released the 11th edition earlier this year. The LBH covers virtually every grammar concept of the English language you could imagine. The newest edition is available on Amazon for around $60, but you can buy older editions for less.

I still have (and use often) the 8th edition that I used in college. It never lets me down!

Great suggestions all! That Little Brown Handbook looks friendlier than the more formal Modern English Usage I had. Just what I was looking for!

I would recommend "A Writer's Resource". It is spiral bound, with navigation tabs on the side, making it extremely easy to navigate. It may not seem like much, but I hate digging through indexes to find something.

This link is for the cheaper edition. Grammar rules have not changed, so save your self some money and buy an older edition.
