Would you try to set up an "Intervention" on TV for a family member with a severe problms?

Tip for best answer: M$1.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I think it is too private and hurtful to be on television . There is something painful to watch those people knowing that ever potential boss is seeing how he is when there are some things that should not be seen by others.

No way! Airing personal problems on TV for all the world to see is just not my cup of tea. I did see a classmate on the show last year though. Her son was on meth and she was trying to get him help. I felt sorry for her being in that situation but she was always a bit of a drama queen.

on TV? Wow, no, and once more with feeling :) no!

An intervention within a family is hard enough to bear I imagine, let alone do so in front of an audience!
Even for money that would be a low act and one hard to forgive...I know, you keep thinking 'what if it works?' and I'm thinking 'what if it doesn't work?' and all the risks...I couldn't do it to my family no matter what...
