Would you try a dog dye job for your pet dog? Why? Why not?
You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I think my dog is beautiful in his natural form. I see no reason to dress, dye or paint him. In my opinion to do any of the above for the most part is a selfish decision as your dog hardly cares what he or she looks like. (the exception:dressing could be appropriate depending on breed and weather conditions.)
Plus it confuses people lol for example in that pic you have up there, people actually believed this was a new breed of dog called the panda dog and were willing to pay well for them. People will fall for anything.

M$For some of these dye jobs you would have to have a completely white dog for a decent pallet.
The best dog for this would be a white poodle, since their hair is very much like ours. I know that all the dyes used are as harmless as food coloring... so I wouldn't worry about that. I don't mind seeing people express their individuality through their dog... hell, many people do that already with what type of dog they choose in the first place.
I currently have a black old Chihuahua that sleeps, grunts and farts, so I think I'll wait until my next baby comes along and see if dying is even an option!

If not... I will always have some crazy Halloween costume for my dog!

M$Cost would certainly be an issue for me though. I’d rather have that money for their pet care and veterinarian cost than some funky dye job.
