Would you spend $30M in 30 days with no waste/assets to show to win $300M. If you Don't succeed you get $0. Or you could take $1M upfront.

This conundrum is based on the popular plot of the film Brewster's Millions, see:

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

$1m a day for 30 days... no problem!

I'm not sure what exactly the rules allow you do and not, but I'm pretty sure this would work...

Just hire out some combination of a tropical island / luxury hotel / yacht / cruise liner / 747 for a month, and throw the mother of all parties for 30 days. You'd have nothing left to show for it except memories. Or possibly not even those if you over indulge. :)

That's the first thing I thought of when I saw the question. I was going to say I'd give it away, but I can't remember if he was allowed to do that. There's quite a difference between 300M and 1M. I would at least try and in the end if I didn't make it, I would think I at least had a good time trying.

And then I'd go back to work...;)

I think when Brewsters Millions was filmed, it was a lot harder to do, But nowadays, i think it would be as easy as pie.. I'd bid $1m on ebay a day for thirty days, for useless items, and resell them for anything, then spend that money on food.. or beer.. :-)

I'd Definitely go for the $300m.

Now, if it was put into $300M, and $3Billion, i think that would be different..

I would take the $1,000,000 and be as happy as a 54 year old that's been broke for years could possibly be!
