M$I would choose the restaurant I love with people I don't.
I have had a great time with people I barely know in the past and that could be the case again.
On the other hand I have had family dinners with the people in my life that I love that have not turned out so great without a bad restaurant fueling the fire. I think most families have had this experience.
Past experience!
