Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

When one preaches the Gospel, you are simply proclaiming the "Good News" that is revealed in the "Word" (The Bible). One should proclaim that Good News without hesitation and without regard to who the audience might be. It is the job of the Holy Spirit to see into the hearts of individuals and convict them and to draw that person to Christ who is the door to Salvation. Homosexuality is a sin, but so is greed, lust, dishonesty and being self-centered. When the Holy Spirit convicts our hearts and we seek God's forgiveness, we are to "repent" - which not only means admitting our sins and asking for forgiveness, but it also means to turn away from that particular behavior. So the bottom line is that in order to preach to someone, first they have to be willing to listen, and have an open heart to be drawn to Christ through the convicting of the Holy Spirit. The Gospel was meant to be preached to all people, not just those who we perceive to be sinful.

Wow! How much hate is there? How much fear?
If you are going to preach the "Good news", then you must follow the example that it sets. It does not preach hate or fear. It does not preach exclussion. All are welcome without exception. The good news is that all are welcome.
Man makes up rules and decides how they will be seen. Maybe we all would do well by taking care of our own business and not sitting in judgement of others. Maybe we should stop looking for quotes in isolation and feel the "spirit" of the source.
