Barley is apparently a good bet for space agriculture on long missions. Japanese brewer Sapporo has taken part in such experiments by brewing a beer using descendants of space faring seeds. But, from a drinker's perspective, the result is beer that tastes the same as their regular beer. So, is it worth $20 a bottle to prove? Apparently a lot of people think so.
