Would you like to live in a spiritual or materialistic world.?

Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

This is a rather dualistic question, isn't it?

Assuming that they CAN be mutually exclusive, I'd have to go with a spiritual world. I've often wished that idly: to turn into a photograph, or a wisp of air, and just take off, weightless.

Of course, what'd be preferable is to have both a spiritual and material world, but to inhabit the spiritual world. Then I could take off for a field or a forest or everything people paint, without having to worry about travel or bugs or anything else, really.

I disagree that those are the only two choices, and also that those two choices are mutually exclusive.

Umm...huh? Your comment does not make sense in relation to my answer. My answer is entirely valid. I've never heard anyone try to divide the world between the two terms he used, so I disagreed with the validity of the question, while still answering it.

I'll repeat this on a number of answers: If you don't like the question, then don't answer it.

The question is vague. There worlds can never exist solely in reality.

As I had said for other answers. If you don't like the question, then don't answer it. Why not answer the question and THEN make your editorial comments. That would be more of a complete answer.

so true Blitzkrieg! It is not reality on planet earth as we know it today. gravity, food, clothing, shelter, stuff. It is a "material universe" here, as we are now.... :) P.S. I am a VERY religious person. :)

Sir, I beg your pardon, but I believe that is my answer. Shouldn't we have the chance to express our thoughts? I know this was not a good answer, probably a bad answer, but still I believe what the asker questioned is hypothetical. I only said this, and I do not understand why you question it.

In my life, I live in whatever "world" is useful for me at the time.

But, if I had to choose between those two worlds... I would choose "spiritual". The "materialistic" world only lasts for a finite amount of time... I'll look towards the longer-term gains...

tough question. well, we are stuck on planet earth, so I try to combine both, putting people's feelings before "stuff and things". :) how's that :) have a great day!!
