Would you kill for money?

http://www.cnn.com/2010/CRIME/01/29/florida.missing.lotto.winner/index.html?hpt=Sbin

Would it matter if you felt it was yours? Lottery winner's body found under a driver way. I'd suggest it was likely the guy who claimed the winning ticket was stolen from him that out him there. In that situation, where money that was rightfully yours was stolen, would you kill for it?
Tip for best answer: M$1.00

I wouldn't kill for money -- absolutely not.

However, if someone stole my winning lottery ticket I'd likely have an assault charge against me as I'd certainly kick someone's butt if they took my ticket.

And so, I'd never kill for money, but I'd hurt someone over it if they stole from me.

No, I wouldn't kill a person for money. An animal, maybe. Like a hunting competition or something.

As another poster pointed out, I can see how some people might become so enraged in that situtation that they go temporarily insane and kill on some sort of rampage. I always wondered why a court cared if the person was temporarily insane or not, though. It seems to me like people who are prone to that sort of rage are not safe to be in society and ought to be imprisoned anyway.

I guess someone could if they became enraged. But what dollar amount can you put on spending the rest of your life in Prison. Or I guess I should say the possibility because during the course of action noone ever thinks their going to get caught.Theres an old saying that says there are fifty ways to commit a murder and not get caught...if you can think of twenty nine of them your a genius.

No. Who in their right mind would? There are better ways of handling this, but a few people try it.

If the money is rightfully yours you have to take "feelings" in consideration.
Seriously.

I would never deliberately kill for money. A person's life is worth more than all the money in the world. I would never be able to live with my self if I kill for money. I don't think I can ever kill someone for money even if my family or I desperately need it. It's more than sleeping well at night, it's about me being a monster, being so cold blooded that I value someone else less than money. If I turn to be that kind of person, just shoot me because I am no longer better than an animal at that point.

Honestly with me it just depends on if I knew the target or not, and how much money I would be them killing for.

One would be surprised who would kill for a great deal of money. Husbands have killed wives and vice versa. Children have been killed for the sake of getting the money they stand to inherit to even spending the rest of their life with a boyfriend they are cheating on behind their husband's back.

I would not kill for money like them...

If I am in that same situation where my lottery ticket was stolen and I will find the guy who stole it, I will not kill for that ticket. I will inform the proper authorities and report to them about it. I won't take the life of another even for a million or a billion dollar's worth of money because that money cannot buy me peace of mind and freedom.
And besides, I greatly respect life. I don't own it so I don't have the right to take another person's life. Besides, I can find money by other means albeit small but in honest way without any danger of facing consequences like being imprisoned.

Yes. I would kill for money. It's upsetting but true. I have been screwed over by the system so many times I see no reason to follow the rules anymore. If I was offered good money for ending someones life I would take it. Yes it's sad , I seem to be morally deficient.

I would not . I do not believe I could live with myself. I would rather know that I did not kill than try to defend killing over money.

No, absolutely not. However, I also don't really understand how killing for money could end well. Even if you're acting purely out of self interest, it seems like it wouldn't take much for the plan to go wrong and land you in a whole lot of trouble.
