No. I would rather give $100 dollars to a charity, and then take my wife out to eat. I would however pay $100 for a celebrity to babysit for me while I took my wife out.

Seeing that this is a charity event, I am assuming proceeds are benefiting the ALS Association. Certainly the motive here is to raise even more funds than the $100 ticket price. In that case, yes, I would attend the event while benefiting a great cause.
Love you Kate Linder and for all of the charity work you do. Raising awareness to charities is a noble and generous action.
