Would you go skiing if you were offered a free trip, but you didn't have health insurance?

M$I am a skier and snowboarder and have been since I was a kid but cannot go anymore due to my lack of health insurance. I have even turned down a free lift ticket to Attitash Ski area in New Hampshire (*superb skiing and boarding*) last season because of this.
A simple broken leg, arm, any bone really, would break me financially and cripple my efforts to improve my business to where I can afford health insurance. I need to be able to walk and lift and I would need income while I could not do these things. (so I need an AFLAC as well) Really is disappointing that I cannot risk my health for financial reasons by going on any sort of dangerous ski or adventure trip but that is the price and consequence I chose for myself when I went into business for myself.
Having and running your own business has its rewards and freedoms but the choices we make have trade-offs and being able to afford health insurance and go on ski trips is a self made sacrifice. Maybe next year.

M$I would go skiing anyways though. You can't place you life on hold, for fear of having an accident or getting injured.

M$Hopefully this Sunday will prove fruitful and a Health Care option will come available to me. Then my next adventure will be going to the Dentist! (Which for me is scarier than bungee jumping...)
