Would you buy the new HP TouchSmart PC?

I build my own computers which are better, and cost less. This has functionality more akin to a tablet laptop, so if I were interested in this, i would look instead at tablet PCs:

They are smaller, but this makes the touch aspect far more useful. Think about it - if you're going to sit down and use a PC in a normal desk, you may as well use a desktop PC, which is cheaper and more powerful.
The TouchSmart all in one design is kind of awkward. It has a big screen, so you can't just stick it anywhere - it'll probably stay in one place, so you're more likely to use it like a normal computer.
The tablet PCs, though, are big enough to do computing in a reasonable manner (Most have 12" screens, some are larger). You could bring it in the kitchen to use while cooking, watch TV with it in your lap, and still get all of the benefits of the touch screen - instead of having a laptop to carry around, it'd be a whole screen, and you can twist it back to normal and use it as a normal laptop when the time comes.
Think about it a bit - would you hang a PC on the wall? If you did that, it would be something you'd use standing up and not for long at all. If you had a tablet PC, you could get the same functionality wherever you were. If it's sitting at a desk with a keyboard/mouse, you're better served with that.
With a tablet PC, you'd get the best of both worlds. The desktop TouchSmart fits in to an awkward point, where it is expensive, and isn't going to be used in a manner that maximizes its usefulness.
