Would you buy opaque groceries?
I also know people who shop at Alice.com and can't live without the service. Alice.com offers non-perishable grocery delivery via UPS.
Would you consider shopping at a combination of the above services? Opaque grocery delivery by mail? If you would, have much discount would you expect? If not, why not?

I disagree. I shop JCP and Kohls all the time. The prices were different on multiple products and they were going to charge me shipping if I shop online. I once found the identical top for $7 more, before shipping charges.
At online grocery stores, they charge me shipping and handling and they don’t double coupons. Also there is usually a minimum order amount upwards of $50, or else they make you pay a service fee. I don’t always need to buy $50 worth of groceries, there is only two of us after all.
So I would not consider grocery shopping online. It would be easier just to sit down, click the mouse a couple of times, and have it shipped to me. I prefer to walk around (burns more calories than sitting after all), get my coupons doubled and tease the employees, its fun, hehe.
The ONLY way I would use it is if I got free shipping and handling each and every time (I don’t charge myself ‘shipping and handling fee’, which is impossible, because that’s where they make there money, and if they double coupons, again they’d be losing money.
People on craigslist want to charge $10 flat fee and a % of the grocery bill.
Sometimes I get $100 worth of groceries, most times it’s $20 after sales and doubled coupons. If the % is 10%, it’s going to cost me $20 for a $100 grocery bill, and $12 for a $20 grocery bill. It takes me between 15 and 45 minutes to grocery shop. I don’t get paid $12 for 45 minutes of my time; I can’t afford to be so wasteful. So I won’t.
If I were to choose a service at all, I would much prefer to have someone who works at the grocery store pick my order, and charge me a $5 flat service fee. I can make that up in doubled coupons any day. Or perhaps 10% of the amount you spend, instead of the retail amount, system would work better for me. I once got $60 worth of groceries for about $30. That’s a $6 compared to $3 respectively. I’d gladly pay that for 45 minutes of my time. Sadly, I don’t think it will happen that way.

If we extend the question to cover perishables, fruits, vegetables, etc. I would be less inclined to do so with vegetables for the reason that has already been stated by another answerer: you are less likely to get good vegetables.
I live in rural Japan, 10 minutes from a farmer's market that has excellent quality vegetables. I go there as opposed to my regular grocer for most things. I am picky with the fruit and vegetables that I buy.
HOWEVER
As I live in the country, it can be difficult for me to indulge some of my food cravings. I like good prosciutto, sometimes I like a bit of speck or other cured meats that I just can't find here. There is a place in Tokyo that sends it via refrigerated courier (postage about $10) - and I am more than happy to put in an order from time to time. It is also an opportunity for me to order stuff that reminds me of home: sausages, real steak and stuff like that. If I had an online supermarket like themeatguy.jp then I would consider buying fruit and vegetables from it.
Basically, if the company chose to up the ante with regards to quality then I would have no qualms about doing all of my grocery shopping online (with the exception of the stuff I can buy down the street).

It went quite well though - I even ordered some vegetables, and what I got was just fine (and of course this is the worry - you aren't there to pick out the fruits/vegetables so they give you the rotten beat up stuff that no one wants).
This worked great for me when I was a very busy, well paid businessman who had no time to grocery shop, and was worth the premium I paid. Now that I live a life of leisure and don't get paid very much, I'd rather go to the grocery store.
