Would you buy a Hyundai now because of their no questions asked return policy if you ever lose your job?

Tip for best answer: M$0.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

No.

* The Hyundai Assurance benefit is worth up to $7,500 and is based on Hyundai's determination of what your vehicle is worth "based on the average of your dealer's appraisal and the values from leading industry guides," the company says. That amount is applied to what you owe. You pay the difference if it's more than that.
* You have to finance or lease the car to qualify.
* The offer is limited to those who involuntarily lose their job, get transferred overseas, become disabled, lose their driver's license due to physical impairment, are self-employed and file for bankruptcy -- or accidentally die.

The final nail in the coffin: "Considering the depreciation of Hyundais, $7,500 would probably cover what you owe if your down payment was a decent amount."

Think about it, not only will you be out of a job, you won't have a car!! Gee, way to boost your spirits by adding insult to injury.

I have actually owned a Hyundai and it was an amazing car, if memory serves me right (it often fails) they were one of the first Mfg. to offer the 10yr/100,000 mile warranty as well. This company seems to be on the ball with what car buyers want.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe they were the first to offer the 10yr/100000mi warranty, indeed.

Probably so, although there are more restrictions/conditions than they say up front. But overall, a company that will work with you when unemployed is somewhere to be loyal to when you do become employed.
