As I'm sure you're aware of... the drama from the FOCA breakaway series has finished. Max Mosely has stood down, and the FIA and Teams have signed a new Concord Agreement.
However BMW have announced they are quitting F1, Toyota are strongly rumoured o be withdrawing in the near future. And Renault may well walk away if they are found guilty of ordering Nelson Piquet Jnr to crash in 2008, so that his team mate could win.
The problem is that formula one is ridiculously expensive... and its hard to justify the expense at the moment. Max may have been right in his attempts to make the series cheaper, but you can't lead if nobody wants to follow you.
