Would it be OK for me (a white woman) to dress up as 1970's Jackie (Foxy) Brown for a disco themed party?

I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be okay, unless your intentions are to make fun of people of another race. You should be able to dress up as who ever you want, as long as it is with good intentions. I mean white people dress up as Pocahontas all the time... what would the difference be?
