Would a Western Digital SATA II (16MB) (7200RPM) harddrive be compatible with a Western Digita (64MB) (5400RPM)

I just want to make sure there won't be any complications before I go and buy. Thank you.
Tip for best answer: M$3.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

What i'd need to do is know if the old drive is SATA. If it is your good to go. Your computer may not be compatible with the SATA II speeds so you might not fully benefit from the performance.
