Would a drop down menu help to educate answerers when No Best Answer is selected? What are your main reasons for voting No Best Answer?
Yesterday, during the Mahalo tutorial someone mentioned that there should be a drop down menu when you vote No Best Answer. I apologize that I can't remember who it was or I'd give them credit for what I think is an excellent idea!
Answerers should know why you chose NBA so that they can improve their answers next time if they want to.
Here are my main reasons, in no specific order, of why I vote NBA on undecided questions:
1. No sources listed when sources are obviously needed.
2. Complete copied and pasted answers with or without the source listed.
3. Inaccurate information or links not going to the proper sources.
4. An answer that is not a complete sentence, does not use proper capitilization, or one that uses text abbreviations.
5. An answer that just says, "go to this link to find your answer".
I could go on and on but what I'd like to know are your reasons for voting NBA?

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Not enough info
Not enough accurate info
Doesn't specifically answer the question
Links from places consider taboo - spamming sites or what not
Although, I think it is most important for the original poster to be 100% clear on the needs. Many of the anonymous questions need to be handled better. I also think you guys need to put an icon to show conundrum questions vs. mahalo questions on the spy link ;)
I also think if the OP chooses no best answer they need to explain in DETAIL why. Drop downs are good, but you have to have a slew of them to fit every situation.
I've tipped everyone who tried so hard to answer my questions in once instance, but none of them were what I was specifically looking for. :)

Hmmm...maybe the person who suggested a drop down box for No Best Answer meant if the original questioner chose NBA? I was considering the idea as it applied to Undecided voting. I think a drop down menu would be helpful in both circumstances.
Yes, there would be a slew of possibilities...I was thinking maybe the five most common reasons and then a "other" choice where you explain your reason.
Thank-you for your answer...it gives me some more things to consider. ;-)
