Working on a project and looking for a creative name for people you follow. Synonym for leader, general, guru etc.

Foreign languages welcome, with explanations! Also looking for what you call the "leaders" statements/directives.
Tip for best answer: M$2.00
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Since the category is Comedy Movies, I suggest Poobah or Pooh-Bah. If there are levels of leaders the top one is the Grand Poobah. This derives from a character in The Mikado, a Gilbert and Sullivan operetta. I suspect the Poobah's orders might be Pooh-bulletins.

well, it depends on what kind of leader he/she is going to be.

a hero: The Warrior
an anti hero: The Revolutionary

your suggestion for "guru" - leads me to think a zen thinker.
