Following are the special features introduced of Wordpress Version 3.0 called Thelonius.
1217 bugs have been fixed, contextual help on each screen, multi-site funcionality, new default theme called twenty ten, new API s for theme developers to implement headers, shortlinks, menus, custom backgrounds, post types and taxonomies.
Please try setting up a test version first and get used to the new interface.
