Wondering if I should have a protein drink before yoga or not. What would you do?

Tip for best answer: M$0.25
Separate topics with commas, or by pressing return. Use the delete or backspace key to edit or remove existing topics.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

I would definitely take it after yoga. It would be best to do before and after, but if you had to pick i would take it after.

When i lift weights, i take mine after, and sometimes before. Take it with water and not milk. If you take it with water you absorb it faster than with milk. Milk has casein proteins which are slower digesting, but it tastes much better with milk.

So really milk or water works. I still take it with milk though!

I prefer no protein drink, I think it is important to give to the body the opportunity to use his own energies supported by your intention and your optimism.
I think be self sufficient could be one of the most important targets....

so better, healthy than a proteic drink I think is your intention to produce your energy yourself and an deep breath exercise(see the linked page).
so if you want to real experience with your body, feel it...
