I have always found myself attracted to dark hair. I have definitely dated more men with dark hair than blond hair as well. Brown hair, in my opinion is usually sexier on a man, but I feel that way only because I like dark, masculine manly men. I know blond men can be just as masculine as dark haired men, but I like it when features look striking and I think brown hair contrasts better with hair, skin and eyes.

This site talks about how woman are perceived differently based on their hair color. According to their studies, redheads are perceived as feisty, opinionated and seductive. Brunettes are perceived as responsible good girls who work hard. Blonds are perceived as bombshells, but also get stereotyped as being irresponsible airheads.
I couldn't find any studies on how men are perceived with their hair color, but this study just goes to show we all have a tendency to stereotype people based on their looks. I see dark haired men as more masculine while someone else may see blond men as more masculine. It's all in our personal perceptions and stereotypes I think. Of course, if I have chemistry with a man, I forget completely about hair color and just go for it!

I wish I could say hair color does not matter, because it should not. It is just that I guess I prefer dark hair over light hair. I feel the same way about women too. Not that I am lesbian, but I think that women with dark hair are prettier. (In my opinion of course.}
I have never gone blond myself. I usually stay with dark hair and occasionally will get blond highlights.

Personality aside and referring just to the physical qualities, I'm really more of a "big picture" girl and find I've been attracted to many different ... well, types of men. It's a whole package kind of thing. Overall fitness is attractive to me, but even in that department I've found men appealing who've been on the thin (even "skinny") side and the not-so-skinny end.
But hair color .... no, never has made any difference.
It really is true, though, that a great personality and kind heart can really make someone physically attractive, especially as you get to know him.

M$Although by nature I am attracted to men with dark hair, a person spirit and demeanor is most important to me. Someone with an awesome attitude and big heart can be so attractive. A physically gorgeous man that opens his mouth and is rude gets ugly in seconds.
I guess it is a full package to some extent. Spirit and heart matters the most to me, but initially I am attracted to a certain type.
